Looking for fabulous accommodation in a quiet and friendly neighbourhood? Known for its character and charm, Kensington B&B is the perfect choice.

Welcome to Kensington B&B

Our 1880’s three-bedroom home is part of the heritage streetscapes surrounding the friendly Kensington Village and close to Flemington Racecourse and Melbourne Showgrounds. We’re 10 minutes from the Melbourne CBD by train and the 402 bus services Lygon and Brunswick Streets, the Footscray Market and major hospitals. We’re also just off the CityLink Freeway and about 30 minutes from the airport.

As travellers who love being independent we provide accommodation that guests crave when away from home – be it for holidays; visiting family and friends; celebrations, or work. Kensington B&B has an open kitchen with a dining area, a lounge, two bathrooms and a sunny deck. Our home is centrally heated in winter and fan in summer while the coded front door keeps your stay key-free. We’re flexible, so if what you’re looking for is not immediately obvious on our website, send us an email with your request.

Guests enjoy a choice of breakfast cereals, toasted bread and homemade jams or marmalades from our Violet Town farm.

With public transport in every direction; bike and walking tracks that meander into the city; street parking, and footpaths that crisscross the city, Kensington B&B is the perfect location to call ‘home’ for your stay in Melbourne.
